Guided trips -
Guided
canoe trips are a good way to start learning about the river, with an
experienced Trinity canoeist to help interpret the natural history and historic
sites along the way. Guided trips are conducted on the second Saturday of every
month, changing locations each month to enjoy the best trips on the river system
throughout the year. Trips start and end at a meeting place near the river, and
include tandem (2 person) canoes, paddles, Type 3 lifejackets, the
"shuttle" (transportation from the meeting place to and from the
river), and interpretive guide. Price per person is $35.00, which includes all
state and local sales taxes. Reservations are required for all guided trips.

The shuttle starts at the "take-out", near the
end of the selected river section, and includes transportation for you,
your group, boats and equipment up to the "put-in" (starting point)
for that section. With the shuttle out of the way, you can paddle at your own
pace down to the take-out where you're parked. Save time and money on extra
vehicles and complicated shuttle arrangements by letting us run the shuttle for
you. Shuttles are priced by the canoe or kayak; all applicable sales taxes are
included.

Canoe trailers are available for rent by the day, or free trailer rental when you rent 6 canoes. Car top racks for transporting bicycles or other sports equipment can usually be adapted for carrying canoes. Car top kits include foam blocks, ropes and bumper hooks and are adaptable to most vehicles; these are available at local outdoor and paddling shops.

Canoe
Instruction -
Improved canoeing skills let you enjoy your time on the water by allowing you to
concentrate on your surroundings, instead of wasting your day on frustrating
trial and error canoeing "methods". Canoe instruction can vary from a
day of personal instruction to tune up your skills before a big trip, to
multi-day classes for groups with comprehensive instruction on the full range of
canoeing skills. Canoe instruction is tailored for each individual or group,
with lesson plans developed to meet individual needs. Prices are quoted on
request, and include all applicable sales taxes.
